The ESP Acceptance team typically initiates a hold when there are program or lender stipulations or property-related issues arise. It is important for the homeowner to resolve these types of holds to get their solar project back in progress as soon as possible.
In some cases, there will be multiple holds on a project. All holds must be fully resolved before the project can be placed back in progress. Once the homeowner has resolved all holds, they can call or chat with ESP or notify their Sales Representative to put their project back in progress.
It is also important to note that while ESP makes every effort to identify any potential issues early in the process, there have been scenarios where a project is placed on hold later down the project pipeline. This is why it is crucial for the homeowner to inform ESP of any known unpermitted structures, ADUs, electrical work etc. during the site survey.
